Better returns from low risk investments
The fund designs it investment portfolio of debt securities so as to generate returns by prudently investing in sectors and issues of debt securities that provide consistently superior yields at low levels of risk.
The fund follows a diligent identification process for securities to pick the right debt and money market investment and that too, at the appropriate time. To reduce the interest rate risk of the portfolio, the fund also identifies the opportunities to invest the fund’s money in investments offering floating interest rates. In tune with the investment objectives of the scheme, the investments are made primarily in short term securities including bonds and debentures.
