Fund Summary

- If you seek exposure to the stock market but desire a less volatile route, consider investing in large-cap stocks. These stocks represent established companies with strong fundamentals, enabling them to better withstand market volatility.

- Nifty Next 50 stocks are the ‘next 50’ companies in the Nifty 100 large cap index, after excluding the top 50 stocks. Popularly believed to be the future leaders, these stocks are large caps positioned between top blue chips and mid-caps.

- However, selecting stocks and building/rebalancing a portfolio from this universe of large cap stocks can be a cumbersome task.

- Passive investing reduces both the hassle and risk of active stock selection.

- Aditya Birla Sun Life Nifty Next 50 ETF is an open-ended exchange traded fund that tracks the Nifty Next 50 Index. It seeks to track the portfolio and performance of the index offering high diversification along with added benefits of ETF investing.

- The fund seeks to earn capital growth over a long-term investing period

Fund Discipline

  • - The Scheme aims to allocate a minimum of 95% (up to 100%) of its net assets to equities and equity linked instruments covered by the ‘Nifty Next 50 Index’

  • - This would be done by tracking the benchmark index i.e.: investing in all the stocks comprising the Nifty Next 50 TR Index in the same weightage that they represent in the Nifty Next 50 Index, while minimizing the tracking error.

  • - It also allocates up to 5% to cash/money market instruments and units of liquid mutual fund to meet liquidity requirements.

  • - The scheme is a passively managed, index linked, open ended, exchange traded fund.
