Hi! I am Kushal Shaw and I love acting. I remember entertaining people since I was a kid. I loved dancing, play-acting and earning appreciation for my stage performances from a very early age. With it also came concerns from parents and relatives on how it will impact my future and will I be able to have a stable income generating career? Contrast to that my brother Prithvi, who excelled in studies and outdid my stage performance awards with his academic accolades.
Cut to present. Thanks to modern web viewing, artists have multiple platforms to showcase our stories and talents. The opportunities are immense and I make a decent income too. Because finance is not a worry, I am able to focus on creative pursuits much more. I am also helped by my brother Prithvi, who plays the role of my financial advisor and consultant since he is an investment banker by profession.
I have benefitted from investing as Prithvi helped me start Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) in mutual funds very early on. With marriage and kids coming, I have increasingly invested more to secure my family's future and my own goal to be a big ticket producer in the next 15 yrs. Once Prithvi told me that there is a facility that could play dual role in my financial independence i.e. investment and protection. It is called the Century SIP (CSIP) which gives the benefit of insurance cover with my SIP investments at no extra cost.
Though I already had a term insurance cover for myself but getting insurance cover with my ongoing SIP investments, that too at no extra cost was beneficial. Now all the dreams, for which I have started a CSIP, are protected with a cover. Something that my artist friends often forget to do.
I am thankful to my brother for suggesting me the CSIP facility.
