    Fund discipline

    • A minimum of 95% (up to 100%) of net assets will be invested in equity and equity-related instruments forming part of the MSCI India Index.

    • Up to 5% may also be invested in debt and money market instruments for liquidity management.

    • The Scheme follows a passive strategy, investing in stocks in proportions closely aligned with their index weights.

    • The index covers ~85% of the Indian equity universe (large- and mid-cap segment).

    • It combines market capitalisation criteria with measures such as the Foreign Inclusion Factor (FIF).

    • The index is rebalanced quarterly (February, May, August, November)

    Tax Applicability

    Short Term Capital Gains (< 12 Months): If you sell your units within a year, the gains are taxed at a flat rate of 20%
    Long Term Capital Gains (> 12 Months): Gains from units held for more than a year are taxed at 12.5%. However, an exemption applies to the first ₹1.25 Lakh of long-term gains across all your equity assets in a financial year.
