The plan is focused to create a good accrual portfolio given the shorter investment horizon. Moreover, older investors need not worry about the fund adapting to their progressing age. Investors have an option to opt for the fund’s trigger facility which aims to help investors with an automated investment strategy which changes with their changing age and adapts to the changing risk profile of the investor. To illustrate, as investors step into their 60s, the fund’s trigger facility changes the plan to Aditya Birla Sun Life Retirement Fund – The 50s Plus – Debt Plan. The Fund Benchmark is CRISIL Short Term Debt Hybrid 75+25 Fund Index.
